This is my observation
Weather 75 degress plus, clear skies


11:05 Ms. Mullen showed us what poison ivy looks like to all of the classes
11:10 Jake and I were walking and we found many areas to search
11:15 Me and Jake found red ants colony and we heard a sound of a rabbit creeping thur the bushes
12:00 We continued to walk around Eaton canyon and found a small hill and went up the hill.
12:05 Went the hill and found a mass of cacti plants
12:15 Stopped for lunch
12:20 Walked into coyote canyon
12:30 Found a deer at on a small hill
12:35 Left Eaton Canyon

Site Description

1750 North Altadena Drive, Pasadena, CA 91107
Tempature: 70 degrees. Sunny skies

 Diego attempted to walk away from others. We ended up going up a slim path where we found an amazing view of the whole canyon. We saw many trees, brush, dirt, and of course houses and other evidence of civilization. Then we left that spot and saw a rabbit in bushes. Then later returned to our original spot to find a deer grazing around our original spot.

Gaudet's Observation

Observation: Gaudet
This is my observation.
Weather: 70 degrees, clear skies.

11:05- Shown poison ivy by Mrs. Mullen
11:20- Noise from bushes.
11:23-  Red ant swarm found.
11:25- Brown rabbit emerges from bush.
12:09- Deer spotted upon small hill.
12:15- Stop for lunch
12:30- Leave Eaton Cayon.

List of Animals.
 The animals found where not those of rarity. The most exciting animal seen was a deer that was scarred off by my partner.

Next was a rabbit found in the bushes. Diego and I heard movement in the bushes. After standing dead still for a few minutes a brown bunny popped out from the brush and then ran off.

Next we saw a swarm of red ants at the top of a small mound.

However there are many more animals living in the canyon such as coyotes, bears, and mountain lions, which where not seen.

These are a bunch of cacti found in the hills. I find it ironic how a desert plant was found in a mountainous area.

This is a hut made of brush that I found off the trail a little bit. This looks as if it could have been built as a shelter for a small animal possibly.
